Admitted to Ontario Bar: 2025
Kyle is a Lawyer & Trademark Agent Trainee at Blaze IP. He graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2023 and was called to the bar in June 2025.
Kyle discovered a passion for intellectual property law after taking an introductory course in the areas of copyright, patent, and trademark law in his second year of law school. He has also developed a keen interest in the intersection of law and technology, particularly with respect to the impacts of automation technologies such as artificial intelligence.
While attending law school, Kyle volunteered as a Student Advocate, assisting Dalhousie students navigate allegations of misconduct.
In his spare time, Kyle is a serial hobbyist but most enjoys wildlife photography, boxing, boardgames, and the occasional road trip. He is also an avid, albeit perpetually disappointed Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
